A day tour in the winelands at the Zorgvliet Wine Estate is a great getaway and a breath of fresh air from the usual going-out-for-a-movie date. The Zorgvliet Wine Estate day tours are quite versatile in that they accommodate anyone you decide to bring along – a date, spouse, family or friends. There is so much to do and enjoy, it’s really worth the while. You get to see what happens on a working wine farm, how the wines are produced from when the vines are planted to when the wines are bottled. Cellar day tour at Zorgvliet Wine Estate
The cellar at Zorgvliet Wine Estate is completely state-of-the-art and is equipped with only the latest in wine technology. The cellar tours at this Wine Estate are conducted Monday to Friday at 10h30 and 14h30. Should you wish to enjoy a tour on Saturday be sure to book in advance (for a minimum of ten people).
Vineyard Walk
A vine ranger will accompany guests on guided Zorgvliet history walks from Monday to Friday at 14h00 and breakfast walks will take place at 07h00.
Picnic
The picnic and coffee shop area at Zorgvliet Wine Estate is currently being renovated and will soon be re-launched providing you with unforgettable experiences. Soon picnic lovers will be able to admire the lovely views of the Banhoek Valley whilst enjoying the fresh air and the outdoors.
Wine Tasting
This is the best activity of all day tours at Zorgvliet Wine Estate because you get to taste the final product – the award winning Zorgvliet wines. The Wine Estate produces three different ranges of the Zorgvliet wine which you will be acquainted with during your day tour. The ranges are as follows:
- Zorgvliet Richelle which is the flagship Bordeaux blend,
- Zorgvliet range which represents Zorgvliet Wine Estate's premier products,
- Silver Myn range which is a portfolio of unique wines including Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Semillon, and Pinot Noir.
