Local artist Robert Koch was commissioned to portray the exquisite Banhoek Valley and the Zorgvliet Manor House in a series of seven paintings. These paintings now form an intergral part of the atmosphere and grace each of the three eating rooms in this Stellenbosch Cape Gourmet Restaurant, namely the Banhoek Kitchen, the Beyers Room and the Bootmanskop Room, referring to the old Cape mariners.
The Stellenbosch Cape Gourmet Restaurant is situated at the Zorgvliet Wine Estate which produces the finest and award-winning Zorgvliet wine. You can delight in your food which will be accompanied by a complementing Zorgvliet wine. Zorgvliet wine consists of four different ranges - the flagship range Zorgvliet Richelle, the premier range Zorgvliet range, the Silver Myn and Le Pommier ranges. The wines are stored and produced in a state of the art cellar which enhances the quality of the product.
